Don't know what to say.. Went there yesterday and had the worst McDonald's experience EVER!
Servers were rude and was not able to get orders correct. Ordered nuggets, but got something else totally different. Lobby was dirty and not cleaned.... Food was crappily made (even at McDonald's standard). Dunno what else to say besides this....
Sushi Han is a place for lunch. Bad operating hours though (closes at 8pm)
Service: Sub-par
You would think that Japanese servers are more attentive, but it's not here. Servers do not see you even if you wave at them. You have to yell at them to get their attention.
Food: Standard quality at standard price
Despite the restaurant being named 'Sushi', their sushi is not the best items. I like their Rice and noodles more like their curry rice, soba and their ramen.
Ambiance: Great interior fitting for a suburban mall
Recently gone through a retrofit and the seating is much more inviting. Going there more often for lunches now.
A gemstone that is neglected!!! A good place for a great dinner.
Service: Standard, not exceptonal.
Servers might be a bit bored as this place is more on the quiet side. If you get them motivated a bit more, they will make your dining experience much more worthwhile.
Food: Excellent!
Customers should note that Carver's serve their steak HOT as noted on their menu as they use a special broil to cook their steaks which makes it look charred on the outside. The inside is still juicy and tender. Ordered rare and had a nicely charred edge and a succulent, juicy red center. Also, their sides and appetizers are EXCEPTIONAL and a HUGE BANG for the buck!
Ambiance: Modern, clean and West Coast.
Has a great fittings and a West Coast touch with the wood. Washrooms are located in the Hotel which is old and is in need of upgrade. Overall, great seating and comfortable environment.
Located across Richmond Hospital, Carver's steakhouse is located in the Executive Inn & Suites. It serves great food at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend to all.
Chop is a great place to gather with friends for a great dining experience.
Service: Superb!
Servers are attentive and are willing to go out their way to help you. Patient and willing to wait for you if you have 'choice-phobia' as witnessed from a friend =]
Food: Great selection, and great seafood!
With the name Chop, you would think their steak is good and their seafood is not, but I find their seafood on par with their steaks.
Ambiance: Chic!
A modern and great place to sit. More on the dark side though, so not a place for men to watch hockey. More like a place for people to socialize and have a great dining experience.
I rarely would have high hopes for food court vendors, but this one just serves GOOD food!!!
Service: Not much service, but standard.
The owner is the front counter server, so bear with her as it does get VERY busy and waits might exceed 30 mins for food. Only 1 or 2 more person work in the back.
Food: Special and stands out!!!
The owner is a Chinese Singaporean, so they serve things ranging from Laksas to Snake soup to your Chinese beef Noodle. But definitely do recommend their beef items as it is well-cooked and well-flavoured.
Ambiance: Food Court.
Nothing much, just your standard food court.
Lai Leung Kee Delicatessen is a great place for you to try out exotic Chinese items such as beef tripe and other specialties. Food is clean and has a great menu selection.
Not a regular patron, but have repeated visits. Overall a good restaurant with lots of Hong Kong delicacies.
Service: Standard for a Chinese place
Really depends on which waitress/waiter but standard overall
Food: Clean and great portions
Food is clean and presentable. Taste is good, but please match the toppings accordingly if you are going for "Pick your own soup and noodles". Ordered something too funky once and didn't finish it!! =P
Ambiance: Clean, but can do better with Washroom
Great fittings in the dining area, but would definitely want to see more upkeep to the washroom.
Cattle Cafe is the 2nd addition to the already successful Cattle Hot Pot just west of the current property. A contemporary Hong Kong Cafe with a emphasis on drinks. Would definitely recommend the "Pick your own soup and noodle" as there are soups with very little to none (advertised as NO) MSG.
A regular customer of the place and would like to leave a review. Overall, great place and good food!!! New chef loves to try new things!
Service: Good!
Place is owned by Chinese, so service quality would not be the type you would expect from western restaurants. But judging from a Chinese point of view, I'd say they do a good job.
Food: Exquisite at good pricing.
Food quality is outstanding compared to other Japanese restaurant in the city. Availability of food is based on seasonal catches, so everytime is a game of trial and error. But the available food has overall high quality and consistent standards.
Ambiance: Clean and neat
Not the best fittings as seats are hard, but overall restaurant is nicely decorated and the newly renovated washroom goes a long way to the visual appearance of the restaurant.
Regular patron of the place, moved along with them to this current location from Cook & 3 Road. Still return frequently.
Service: Amazing memory!!
The owner memorizes the order and doesn't need to write it down! Also, if it's not busy, she will talk with you and teach you how to properly eat the cuisine!
Food: Short of fantastic, but good bang for the buck!
Would definitely recommend their baguettes, they are the MOST exceptional in the region. The pho is standard though with limited choices.
Ambiance: Homey!
Green interior which is not that appealing, but I'd give it a pass as it's very clean.
New Asia deli is a place that doesn't stand out when you look at it, but after eating there, you would want to return. That is why lunch hours are packed now! Would definitely recommend the baguettes even if you are having a pho!!!
I used to be a regular patron of this place meaning that I'd go there at least once a month. Now I just can't stand it anymore
Service: Is that even service??
Got sworn at by the waitress for waiting for a seat.... Can you believe it???
Food: Dirty, what else?
Ordered a curry but had stickers in it (FRUIT stickers)!!!! Told them about it, but they did NOTHING about it!!!
Ambiance: Dirty to the regular folk!
If you consider sticky n' stained seats clean, then it's clean!!!
The food and ambiance of this place is not the best, but acceptable to the regular student and it's a nice place to chill and talk. Not really expecting much from their service, but just had it when the waitress swore at me!!! Was waiting for a seat for 45 minutes and the waitresses kept on giving seats away to her 'friends'. It's normal when it's just one or two tables (I'm reasonable), but FIVE tables???? Then asked her when I will be able to be seated in a nice manner "excuse me, I waited for 45 minutes already! When will I be able to get a seat?". The response was some mandarin swear words and I was shocked!!!! Got mad and went out with friends and slammed their door!!! Never got as angry as this at a public place! BOYCOTTING IT!!!!
