Cactus Club Cafe1598 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver
Still the best, but..

Cactus Club has the best combination of food and service in town... North Vancouver is pretty much on par...but the location also has a issue that takes away from the best relaxed atmosphere..kids running around and being noisy and wanting ketchup and and and. I mean why would I pay these prices and order drinks when they have these children running around like it's a pizza joint?
Their pastas are fantastic..all made in house which is key to quality assurance. The waitresses are beautiful and they are dressed attractively. It calls for a drink, but the kids?!?!
I wish they'd open a location up the street for adults!!!

Tony's Fish & Oyster Cafe1511 Anderson St, Vancouver
Just so-so

The food isn't anything special. It is just that where they are is very nice and scenic and so they probably don't feel like they need to try food-wise. Really, you do need good (above average compared to competitors) food. Also, at other restaurants like Sammy J, Socialhouse and Earls I can take in blonde eye candy with long hair. Why would I not go to those places? I say this as business advice to all restauranteurs because many chains do offer fish as well and oyster is not that rare either..
