Good atmosphere, good service, poor food
Submitted Thursday, September 23, 2010 - 9:45pm [Dine in]

So we went last night. We walked in and things looked promising. Seemed like an upscale place. Decent service. Good drink specials.
Then we got the food.
Nachos-the cheese wasn't cooked enough and I swear the salsa came from Extra Foods. Bland.
Steak sandwich-ugh, so tough, I could barely cut it up to eat. Terrible! The caesar wasn't bad though.
I'm glad we had a coupon...I wouldn't go again. Which is too bad because it's close to our house.

Not bad for an afterwork takeout
Submitted Wednesday, July 21, 2010 - 7:38pm [Dine in]

I often go here after work for a quick takeout. It's pretty good, the couple working there are pretty friendly. The sushi is reasonably-priced and fresh, and they don't use fish roe (I don't like fish roe). I wouldn't eat there, it's in dinky mall in New West with a couple tables, so it's best to order it for take out (while you're waiting, go grab some beer at the BC Liquor Store!)

Not so great

My first time trying ramen...I was not impressed. I don't think it's just me either, my boyfriend said that as far as ramen goes it was pretty mediocre. The soup noodles reminded me of instant noodles, and for some reason I thought there would be corn in the soup-no, it seemed to have MIA.
Oh well maybe another ramen place will be better.
