We've been here several times....and no lie "It's Very Good."
Go figure, we live on the North Shore but it's certainly worth the drive.
Sure there are other great Indian establishments and we've tried several but this one is a jewel.
We stumbled on it a few years ago and love eating here.
Not only is the food great but they genuinely seem happy to see us.
With all the new high-rises being built in the area, not sure how long it'll be before these folks have to relocate.
Jagerhof almost sounds like a German swear word for someone who's not happy.
My wife and I ate there last week and we were somewhat Jagerhoffed!
The food was barely OK. My food arrived, the ham looked like it was left over from Thanksgiving. The schnitzel wasn't bad. The bratwurst was uneventful.
The service was certainly unenthusiastic..my wife thought the waitresses looked either very tired or hungover....maybe they were not happy to be there?
Now lets talk about seating...there are about 4 tables on the northside of the restaurant. They would be the decent tables, all the rest would be cold and cafeteria- like.
The best way to describe Jagerhof is the way it appears to be run - Who cares.
Dear Jagerhof Schnitzel House;
You look sad and tired, maybe you should take a short vacation, come back and spend a little money on yourself. We'd like to come back and visit one day....
As far as 'All you can eat', whatever.
The food is just Ok.
The service isn't bad.
The Korean BBQ is fun with friends.
Question - why is it that everywhere I walk in this place and especially the staircase that goes down to the parkade is it slippery like someone carefully applied a layer of Fish Sludge? I don't know that I've ever felt before such a need to throw away my shoes than after I've been to Shabusen. Now I am guilty folks, I have been here many times but...Gross!
I haven't been back in over a year cuz I'm a bit worried.
I'll keep this short and sweet.
We had a horrible dining experiance.
Maybe they were short staffed.
Maybe the the chef was off his game.
Maybe I'm being too harsh, I don't think so.
If I'm going to spend 180 bucks, I would certainly expect much better.
Go figure, the waiter had just bussed a table near by and came by our table with his arms full of dirty dish and asked what wine we had chosen.
The lamb and barley risotto was astonishingly bland.
I can not recommend this place.
Very sorry.
I check this place out occasionally as in maybe once / every other month.
The food is quite good. I don't know that I could compare it to many other Ethiopian places.
The service is very good...actually it's great.
The owners are good, friendly people.
It's certainly worth checking out.
I enjoy going there. My wife and I always have a nice time there.
Read my lips people..." LALIBELA IS GOOD FOOD!"
Now get on over there and check it out.... Hurry now.
Forget the Ambiance thing! That's it....throw it out....you'll be fine.
I've had Sushi just about everywhere. I've been checking out Sen Sushi since they opened. I go there all the time with family or with friends. Can't beat it. I repeat, Can't beat it. I've even checked out the HUGE Sushi Katsu restaurant next door. My kids said it well, "bad service, Yucky Sushi."
As for Sen Sushi....
No, I'm not worried for Sen Sushi.
No, this is not a romantic place for a candle light dinner.
No, they don't have a liquor licence.
Yes, you do have to go thru the kitchen to get to the washroom.
No, you won't find better service or value anywhere.
Yes, the sushi is surprisingly good.
Yes, their Take Out is the best anywhere.
You'll see.
