Just what I wanted

A cheap, local greasy spoon to get a decent basic breakfast at. Breakfast will cost you half what the same (but with inferior food) breakfast will cost you at Denny's or White Spot.

After my less than stellar experiences at the local breakfast places, this'll be my new go-to for basic breakfast. The lunch stuff looked pretty good too.

Me and my wife went to Seasons for our 1st wedding anniversary on a Sunday evening and were very impressed.

I called ahead a few days earlier to make reservations and asked them to please get us a nice table with a view since it was our first anniversary - they came through! We had a corner table with a fantastic view!

With one exception, the food was incredible. The only disappointment was with the Ahi Tuna - it was kind of tepid when it arrived, and I've had a better rare tuna at the Boathouse, unfortunately. The crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, bread and dessert were fantastic however. I had the pecan pie and my wife had the daily cheesecake - we're glad we saved room.

As a nice surprise, they put a "happy anniversary" and "congratulations" cookie plaque thingy on the desserts. Kudos to Seasons, the first really top notch restaurant I've been to here in the Vancouver area.
