My family have frequented this dining establishment many many times. Well, we've now finally hit the end of the road. I will never return. The only reason we keep on going back is that its within walking distance from the folks' home. Every time we go there, the service gets worse and worse. Obviously customer service is not a high priority. My family went there today for dim sum. The food was just atrocious. I cant believe we had to pay for it. A few of the dishes ordered were off, like it was from yesterday's leftover. Our teapot was not refilled even once during our time there. However, I must say that service was prompt after we paid our bill, they couldnt wait to clean our table and get us out of there quickly to seat the next patrons waiting. This type of service irks me the most. The last time we were there for dinner, they had the gall to tell (not ask) us to doggie bag the dessert as there was a line up at the door. That time, we didnt budge and again, the bill came fast and clean up of the table was prompt. I think the tablecloth was changed and new set of dishes on the table before I reached the door. Stupid on me for returning after that incident. Never ever again!

My family and I am up in Whistler for the long weekend. A co-worker of mine recommended Wildflower to me and since we were staying within walking distance of the Chateau Whistler, we decided to give it a go. To our surprise, the Chateau Whistler was offering a $20.10 special which included an entree and dessert. To our delight, the Saturday special was prime rib and the dessert was lemon meringue tart. Being the long weekend, the restaurant was quite busy. The decor was pure elegance. Our server Cindy was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive throughout our entire meal. The complimentary bread was warm and delicious, as if it just came out of the oven. When our prime rib dinner arrived, I was quite surprised about the portion size. Must have been around 12-14 ounces. Combined with yorkshire pudding, veggies and mashed potatoe, needless to say my tummy was very happy and content. The lemon meringue tart was just what I needed to end this perfect meal. All this for $20.10, what a deal indeed. Too bad we werent staying longer cuz I'd be there every night!
