Good food at a great price and extremely fast service, even at busy lunch time on Sunday. We came to this restaurant not knowing what to expect, and left satisfied. Great place to grab a quick, affordable and tasty meal.

The place was quite busy but waiting didn't take as long as expected. We ordered a chicken cashew red grape salad, a fish and chips and a burger. The food was tasty, although the salad could use a bit more dressing. Service was not as prompt as we would have liked, but overall, an enjoyable lunch.

I picked this restaurant strictly based on the reviews I have read here, and am definitely glad that I did. This restaurant lives up to these reviews 100%. Good food, efficient service, and great value. Our table ordered from the Sunday special menu today and everything came with either a green salad (very fresh) or a cup of soup, plus a dessert. All that with the main dish cost less than $10. No wonder the place was packed. Many looked like they have been here many times. I think I will become one of them.

Good place for a quick meal

After reading the reviews here, I decided to give this restaurant a try. We ordered from the lunch special menu: fried rice, fried noodles and steamed buns. All were well-prepared, though a tad salty for my taste. Service was very fast and efficient and the waitress quite pleasant. This restaurant is definitely worth a try if you like Shanghai/Szechuan food.

We went there for an early lunch and ordered the set meal for four. Service was fairly fast, except for the dessert, which took some time to arrive. Teapot was filled promptly. The food was well prepared in taste as well as in presentation. We enjoyed our lunch very much. We will be back.

We were three hungry people and were happy when we got the large plates of food, but after the first bite, we knew they need a better chef. The waitress was very pleasant and cheerful, and service was quite fast, but they need a better chef. Despite the large number of people in the restaurant, it was reasonably quiet today, but they need a better chef. I know I have said it three times, but seriously, a better chef is what they need.

I agree with other reviewers that this place has gone downhill as far as service is concerned. The food has always been OK to me - not terribly impressive, but decent enough. But they really need to train their waiters a bit better.

An enjoyable experience

This is my first visit and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Their Awesome Roll was like the name: awesome. It tasted great and the presentation was also lovely. The waitresses were attentive, and very cheerful too. I think I will go back some day.

The last time I went to this restaurant, I waited for at least 45 minutes for my order. I had asked them to check on my order a few times during my wait and was told repeatedly that it was coming. About 40 minutes after I ordered and the rest of my party had finished their meals, the waitress told me my order was screwed up and she had just placed the order then, and assured me that it would arrive in 5 minutes. It took longer than that.
There was no apology and no compensation for the time I spent waiting. I had been to this restaurant many times before this but I have not been back since.
