Diamond in the ruff on Broadway! I have passed this place so many times and never thought to go in it looks really dark and almost like a club, but I planned a girls night out and chose this over other close by options.
It was awesome from beginning to end, the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks, even the other guests were fun and inviting. The food was amazing! I am so very glad that we decided to go there! I think it might turn into a monthly event!

The only thing it has going is the look...Very disapointing!

I picked this place as it is just across from where my friend lives and she had heard mixed reviews, so we thought we should try it out. I was actually under the impression that it was affiliated with Piatos Mediteranean Restaurant in New West, which I have been to and absolutely loved. Boy was I mistaken! Night and Day!

When we got there it was packed and the hostess told us it would be 10 minutes, we waited almost 40 minutes, which was not so bad because I was catching up with my friend, but we weren't offered anything while we waited, or even talked to until our table was ready. An acknowledgement would have been nice, since other people were turned away or ignored when they tried to get a table.

We finally got seated and I must say it is beautiful in there, but the rest of the night left a sour taste in our mouths...literally. We ordered some appys and starter salads, the salad was a soggy mess. We also thought it would be fun to order a specialty drink and got one that I forgot the name of, but it had ouzo in it and put Zorba the Greek to shame!
Our main dishes took a long time and were a little on the salty side, and cold.

The staff was friendly enough, but all looked like they worked at a nightclub, our server was okay, but not very knowledgeable with the menu, or helpful to suggest to us what was good and what wine would go with our dinner choice.

We are going to try it again in a few months, as I am sure they are still working out the kinks, so wait if you are thinkning of going there for at least some better reviews!

Wow! I am new to dine here, and I cannot believe only 2 reviews have been made for this place!! I have been there a handful of times and absolutely love it!

From what I gather it is a family run place, I was served by a sister and a cousin, who were warm and friendly.
The food was amazing each time I have been there. I do wish that there were a little more menu options on the Greek food side, but other than that it is awesome food.

The salad dressing is amazing! I am addicted! I found out on my last visit that they actually sell the stuff! I will for sure be buying!

My favorite so far has been the Greek dishes, the Calamari is to die for, perfectly cooked, not at all rubbery like New West's other Greek restaurants. Although I do agree with one reviewer about the starter salad being small, you all but forget this when you taste the salad, to die for people!

The atmosphere is great, there are these really comfortable booths that are made up of leather couches, there are also an array of cool details, like the chandeliers. The color scheme is intimate and alluring, perfect for a date night, or a night on the town with some friends.

Piatos is truely a jem in New West's lacking eateries. I hope they do well, I am already a repeat customer!
