my friends and i went out searching for a great new place to hold a party. we accidentally found fuku-san while walking around parker and its really great that we decided to try it out. the look of the place was really unexpected. it has a really nice feel to it, the space and the table variations works for me.

the menu is extensive but not all over the place, nice range of selection with reasonable prices. we we're the only customer that night which is a wonder but good for us since all our orders came pretty fast. also the server's recommendation of yam tempura was amazing, one of my favorites though its really simple.

i love the plating of each dish especially the yam tempura. their takoyaki is also good.

so we sealed the reservation and definitely coming back again.

I went there just a couple of days ago with some friends. I've read good reviews about it and was so excited to try it out. I made a reservation around 7 pm. The location is not really ideal and a little bit hard to find but it was sure worth the time.

The over all appearance is good, not cluttered nor overly simple but it can be better. I only find it weird to see all the pictures of dogs posted outside the resto itself. I like the set up of the table, not too cramped and there's a lot of space in between, I liked the chairs too.

The menu is simple and the selection is quite good. We were quickly served with hot green tea as soon as we were seated. I started of with the chef's house appetizer of small cuts of sweet salmon which was well received by our group. And since we made a reservation we get to receive a reservation special appetizer too from the chef. The karaage and the three set sushi we ordered came out after a reasonable time, and they were excellently plated. The japanese set I ordered came about soon after and it was really a good portion, hot and steamingly good.

The only downside with the experience was that it was kind of hard to communicate with the person who attended to us since she doesn't speak english quite well. She missed an order that we made that we waited for so long and we had to follow it up. But since she was so nice and apologetic we didn't mind it at all. At the end of the meal we were offered coffee and free on the house desserts.

We left the place satisfied and full to the brim. It was also nice that the chef took time to say goodbye to us and we were able to say thank you to the excellent food and service.

I'll definitely go back there again, in fact I'm going back tomorrow!
