Went here when they first open (didn't have the best experience), walked by last night with my girl and decided to give it another try. There was a live DJ spinning tunes after 9 which has a nice lounge feel to it. Surprisingly,I notice a few items on the menu changed. I guessed they changed a few things that wasn't working for them. Me and my girlfriend shared the prime rib, stayed later and had a few cocktails because they had great music spinning last night. Of all the restaurants in this area I think this is the better one.
The food and wine was great however the service was horrible. I think there was one waiter servicing the entire place. Although there was only about 4 occupied tables the entire time we were there. We arrived for 630 and due to the extremely slow service, by the time we got the bill and left it was almost 10PM. Normally i don't mind sitting and enjoying a long dinner but we were anxiously awaiting our waiter majority of the visit. I really enjoy the food however this poor service makes me hesitant to go back again.
We really enjoyed the Blue Water Cafe. We were 6 people around a nice size round table; it was very convivial. The food was very good and the plates presentation were very nicely done. Also, they had very fresh half shell oysters. atmosphere was both warm and vibrant, as we could see from the dinning room all the cooks in action in the kitchen. They have a very nice, if not impressive, wine list. I was in the mood for great fish and I was totally satisfied with my salmon dish. The three-level plate of sushis and raw fish assortment that we ordered for the table as an appetizer was amazing
