Food to dream about

This place is amazing. When I worked downtown I would grab lunch here at least once a week, and often more.

Every day Zambri's offers up a different selection of delicious, simple sauces and ragus, served on noodles chosen to highlight the taste and texture of the sauce. A serving costs about $10, which is more than enough to feed all but the most prodigious eater (I always had enough left over for dinner or lunch the next day). I can offer no other praise than to say this is the only restaurant that I will order Italian-style pasta dishes at, because it's the only restaurant I know that can do them better than I can at home.

If you're not in the mood for pasta, Zambri's offers daily soup selections and, more importantly, a meatball sandwich that is truly amazing - their texture is ethereally light, moist and bursting with flavour. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Love this place

I have always had excellent food here. Their spring rolls are better than any other that I've had, pad Thai is dynamite and their peneang (red) curries are delicious. Lunch specials are an incredible bargain, with soup, spring rolls and one of three entrees for around $10, with enough left over for a light dinner.

Unlike some other reviewers, I've always had excellent, friendly service.

Nice touch - they do take-out, which my partner and I indulge in almost weekly
