Not bad...

I have been going to Clancy's on and off for almost 10 years now. It's a great pub to hang with friends, have some drinks & good pub eats. Their chicken wings used to be amazing, but it's been a few years since I've had them so I'm not sure anymore.

The pub is quite large & boasts 2 pool tables at the back of the pub. The casino is also just steps away if you feel like doing a little gambling on your way out!

It's also know to be a great college hang out as it's across the street from Douglas College.

Group Hang Out's

Our group of about 40 or more people have been going to Clancy's for over 2 yrs now once a month.

We meet in the pool room so there is lots of seating and 4 pool tables to use as well as live entertainment Friday and Saturday nights for those who love to dance. We are always given our own waitress so the service is always very good.

The pub has a varied menu typical of all Pubs. The chicken wings or any of the appetizers are all very good as well as any of the daily specials. The prices are very reasonable lower than most pub prices I think. They also have nightly drink specials.

Being a sports bar as well we sometimes have hit UFC nights or Hockey Games and always found some room to squeeze in on those busy nights.

All ages use Clancy's as a hang out so the ages are well mixed. Lots of fun meeting new people always.

In the near future the Pub is being renovated and made bigger to incorporate some of the former lobby space of the Hotel. The night bar manager has told our group so we all are very excited to hear this. We look forward to seeing the new changes and look.

We look forward to our monthly fun Pub Nights at Clancy's !!!

Brandy :)

So-So Pub Experience

I'll give this to Clancy's; it's a big bar with lots of seats (except when the sports games are on). The food is a little too greasy, however, and the wings aren't as good as at many pubs. The service is okay. The place has a rather so-so downtrodden ambiance most of the time, though it is popular during sports games. It isn't bad for a drink, but it's not good for food.

K I'm only 21 and I think it's the best place ever. I've only eaten there twice but the food was good both times (even tho I puked up the chicken wings and tequila later... but it's still one of my favorite memories!). The bands ROCK (still wish they'd learn black betty...) and the dance floor rules (just the right size for me - usually the only one dancing) and there's ALWAYS a free pool table! And darts! (Why doesnt anyone play darts anymore?? Fun!) Anyway... It's usually pretty empty and the only people there are 30+ but it doesnt matter because they're always super nice and fun. Once someone gave me $10 for drinks just for dancing. It was awesome. I highly recommend clancy's for a group outing, or even just a few people going out. I always go there with my boyfriend and have a blast. Going for my bday today! WOOO clancy's! ♥
