The Other Half and I went here for a late lunch on Saturday. Although it was sunny, the wind was cold.
This pub is located right on the slough in Ladner. Lots of interesting "views" out the windows. Pub itself is showing a bit of age, but it was clean and tidy.
Ordered a steak sandwich (steak done rare) with fries for me, and the OH ordered a shrimp croissant with caesar salad. We both had pale ale to drink.
The fries were OK, the onion rings were great, but the steak was very, very thin and very, very well-done. The shrimp croissant was pronounced to be very good indeed, even though the caesar salad was average.
The servers were both very friendly and efficient, but the bartender was snarly. Not wanting to leave the money on the table, we took it up to the bar and got barked at to "pay the server, not the bartender". Guess not everyone likes a sunny Saturday afternoon.
