La Brezza was a great little find here in Calgary! I was actually surprised as to why this place has gotten no reviews!? Anywho, it was a suggestion-based lunch (again) because of our lack of experience here in Calgary, and being all touristy, we had no other choice but to ask.
Luckily we struck gold. The restaurant itself is actually quite small, but cozy nonetheless. It looked like former, remodeled house, which did add to the look of a true Italian restaurant. Lunch began with some calamari, which turned out to be really good. The waiter actually suggested us this one. I think he could see the worried look on our faces. I had the carbonara (don't remember the full name - excuse my bad memory and poor Italian) and it has excellent. It actually had chunks of bacon in it. The wine that came with it was perfect, and ended up paying the fair amount for the delicious meal. We actually missed coming here a second time! If only.
