An old friend of mine were shopping at the mall located across this restaurant a while back when we decided that we MUST have sushi for lunch. My usual sushi joint for sushi-ing while shopping at Metrotown is usually Daimasu, next to Save on Foods and Red Robin. Sushi Garden is so small and lost in the shop on Kingsway that I had never noticed it. But I let her persuade me into trying something new and away we went.
The sashimi they serve here always come in really, really large SLABS. The freshness of their fish has always been consistent and their service is super fast. I met my (now) husband here for our first date, recommended my bosses from back East there for lunch during our first interview, and have been brought back to the same place by my bosses.
This place is so unbelieveably great that I feel quite silly for writing this review. I had promised myself that I would stop raving about this place, the line up and wait times are starting to get crazy.

Certainly very busy. The sushi as okay though. I would certainly come back more often if the service was a bit better. It seems more like a fast food restaurant than any normal dine in. If you want to avoid the rush, better come right when it opens or just before it closes.
