A Metrotown Institution

This location has been here for ages so I'm really surprised to be the first person to rate it. Probably because there's not much to mention in terms of innovative food or out of this world service. It's a glorified coffee shop where you can eat quick, albeit very expensive meals. The specialty coffee drinks are adequately made but I always find them colder and less flavoured than Starbucks. The pricing is about the same. We ordered brownies and they were not fresh but at least tasty enough. The service is a bit slow...I don't know if it's because of the lack of training of the counter staff or maybe there's too much diversity of products sold. If you want a cup of joe fast, you're better off going to a dedicated coffee outlet.

Ambiance is very modern, recently updated with oversized "ethan allen"-like chairs and sturdy granite like tables. The place is spacious so there's plenty of space and privacy for people to get together for late night chats or cramming for exams. One thing that I do miss from the Bread Garden of old, was the coziness and warmth that's missing. Very convenient location and plenty of free parking available.

Good Place To Read

I came by this place by chance, got hungry and this was the first place I saw.

The place has good seats, good-looking food and maybe I got lucky but there were quite a few good-looking girls eating there too. So I spent about 2 hours reading and basking in the ambiance of good-looking women.

The food was good. They sold homestyle mac and cheese that was decent. The service was good, the ladies were nice and prompt with my order.

All in all this was a nice place to hang out for a while.

This is the first time I visit this location. I quite like it. Server's are friendly and food looks good and lots of selections for quick bite and cup of coffee. They brought down my food for me even though I am supposed to be picking it up. Good place to relax by yourself. Top hits music and good place for after shopping too.

Some products are always sold out

I just wonder why the chocolate croassons are always sold out. Even if you come early morning - it is sold out!
If they would care for their customers the would probably increase the number of requested products, but it looks like it is not in their interest. Why to sell you something for 2$ when they can seel you other stuff for 6$ or 7$?
I just think that if the product is in the menu it should be part of the daily routine to keep the right amount, so people can buy it.
