Philly Phil's is Windsor's first premier cheesesteak and slider restaurant using fresh, never frozen, products to ensure quality. Our steaks and sliders are made fresh each day. We use premium potatoes for our fresh cut fries. Our bread is purchased daily from Windsor's finest bakery, Blak's Bakery. We purchase everything local.
I ordered the Chicken Philly Combo Meal (comes with fresh cut fries and a pop). The sandwich was HUGE and the chicken / onions / peppers were cooked while you wait (so it took a while, but so worth it). Really good quality ingredients, really nice bread. My husband had the American Philly and I guess he could have chosen provolone instead of the Philly Wiz (he didn't know), but regardless he still liked his sandwich. We will definitely be going back. I think, however, that $ 10.99 + tax is too much for lunch, unless you split the meal with a friend (and you could definitely do that, its that big). They would likely get more business if they kept the price under $ 10 including tax, just make the sandwich 1/2 size and serve it with less fries. P.S., the owner is a really nice guy!
