A Mom & Pop small restaurant that advertises as "Gourmet Chinese Food".
I came here at night with some friends, and I ordered chicken chow mein and this chicken stir-fry dish. Well...I was shocked when the chow mein came. It didn't have chicken pieces in it, there was turkey cold cuts on top of what looked like plain fried noodles with salt. I asked the waitress why my chow mein had turkey cold cuts and not chicken, and she responded " oh we ran out of chicken, but this is okay right?" i just didn't kow what to say. The chicken stir-fry stank, the sauce actually smelt really bad. We ended up eating neither of the dishes, and the waitress came to our table and was like " this must be the first time you guys are eating chinese food thats why you have so much left over, haha" We didn't know what to say, we have had chinese many times, but never like this. Terrible!
I dropped in for a fast lunch and found a goodly choice of Combination Lunches on menu.
I picked the S & S Boneless Spare Ribs over Steamed Rice and was served a goodly portion in very short order by a very pleasant smiling waitress.
The ribs were a bit greasy for my liking, but with the number of customers happily feeding at this time, I have to presume that I am getting jaded......or...... a lot of people are not overly fussy.
