Shinjuki is a no frills Japanese restaurant in White Rock.
Found hair in one of my sushi pieces. Showed waitress but she didn't care. Awhile later she brought me out a replacement piece. I've eaten here a few times and the food is always not great. It is a pretty popular restaurant because it's the only Japanese one on White Rock Beach strip.
I took my little sister in-law to this restaurant to try out for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes. We both ordered some rolls and the fish seemed fresh and the rice was a good consistency. The price is pretty average for what you are getting.
