I think the owner may have changed. I used to order here all the time but the last few times we have had to wait over an hour one time the next one and a half hours for our food. I asked them what time we ordered our food and they actually lied to me about what time it was ordered. When the food 2 med pizza and a couple pops got to my house 1:35 mins later- we only live 5 mins away it was cold overcooked. Will not order here again. I knew what time I ordered I just wanted them to admit that this was not the 45 mins or less as they stated.
Being new to Dine Here I was surprised to see only one review for our favourite restaurant. Indeed the take out lasagna is a monthly occurrence, but the rest of the menu is phenomenal as well. My wife's staple is baked tortellini while mine is the roast lamb. I find it hard to finish the huge portions, so generally back off and have a take home for next day. The ambiance is strip mall small, but even there it could be described as cosy. Being a small operation there is one waitress and over the ten years we've been going there has always been a delightful young lady who has changed in person but not in attitude. A thoroughly delightful experience every time.
Porto Fino Express offers great value, great food and great service! Definitely one of the best take-out venues on the peninsula. The Porto Fino lasagna special has become a weekly meal in our home! Try it, you won't be disapointed!
