Me and my girlfriend went down, such an awesome food they cooked, I loved their Ribs & Lasagna and their Kalamari. Good Place to dine, good price, good music, good service, awesome. There was lots of leftover which we ate the next day, Not to worry about Lunch! Hahaha... they also have take-out, i was amazed how many people showed up to pick their pizzas and pastas.
We went there for dinner on a Saturday night, and there was only one table seated in the entire place. That probably should have been our first clue.
To start we ordered 2 appies. The phyllo pastry was so burnt on the tiropita that it was actually black on all the corners, and you could smell the burntness (like bread in a toaster burnt). Our server never came by to check to see how the food was (apparently busy with the one other table) so we waved down the manager (I am assuming). He asked if anything was wrong, and we pointed to the tiropita stating it was a little too well done. He looked at it and said 'it always comes that way because the oven is too hot'. We asked if we could order something else instead. He said he had to take it back to the kitchen to see if they thought it was not edible. WHO lets the kitchen decided??? They are the ones that sent it out to us! After stating we were willing to PAY for something else and for him just to remove the plate we did finally recieve another selection.
Prime Rib special was chewy, and salads were sub par. The only way I can describe the food is if you picture a cookbook from the late 70's to early 80's. The mashed potatoes were two mounds that were scooped from an ice cream scoop onto the plate. The shrimp salad was pretty plain, with two chunks of cucumber, and two wedges of tomato. It really looked like something you would get in a cafeteria - or an old age home. Oh..and paprika sprinkled on everything!
If my grandma was still alive, she would probably love this place...however, I will not be going back anytime soon.
