I enjoy this place very much. The food is GREAT! however I never find the portions big enough. I leave feeling content and have a snack shortely after I get home.
If you are planning a romantic night out this would be a good choice, candle lit, nice music and the service is good.
I will continue to go back.

Very nice lunch experience

I have been here several times with clients for lunch. Each time the food has been tasty, fresh and fast to arrive - very important at noon. The sandwiches in particular are creative combinations that my clients find very appealing. Prices are acceptable for the quality of the meal, but I find the portions a bit small. A $12 salad leaves me distinctly "wanting more" although admittedly I am not a bread eater and that would probably do the trick. The bread service is good, I am told. There is a daily fresh sheet that most of the people I go with end up choosing from. I hear lots of compliments about the lunches and the comfortableness of the restaurant. The nautical decor is charming and not over the top. Service is hit and miss, although more hit than miss... What can I say? I keep coming back and will continue to do so as long as my lunch guests continue to enjoy it.

Outstanding quality, but petite portions

This is a regular spot for lunch, and the ever changing daily specials ($9.95) are invariably well-thought out and outstanding quality. The soups in particular are unusual and extremely tasty. Sandwiches are made from very fresh ingredients, but the standard portion is a half-sandwich. We have always found the bread to be very fresh and appetizing.

Go for the quality, not the quantity.
