Went here for brunch, not too busy, placed our order, had to wait almost an hour for our lunch while we watched people come and eat and leave who arrived after us. When we asked about our food 'oh it is coming right up" 10 mins later "oh it is just on the grill" 15 mins later food arrives to our table but not in succession, two of our party had to wait another 5 mins after some of the dishes were served before their meals appeared.
Ordered and iced tea and it was some tap water with ice tea powder which they failed to properly stir so it was pure sugar on the bottom no wonder it had no taste...
When I asked politely at the end if there would be any discount given the amount of time we had to wait for our food and we were told NO. There would be no discount as they were very busy. I pointed out the fact that I watched 4 other tables who arrived after us ate, paid and left, again she said they were busy and that is just the way it is as our order took up so much grill space?? Sorry? Come again? is this not a restuarant? are they not meant to handle an order from 4 people??
Suffice to say service sucked, no apology from the waitress and will not be going back here again or recommeding it to anyone.
Went here to eat for lunch on numerous occasions. The waitress's were friendly and attentive.
They serve breakfast for the weekend and the omelets are particularly good. My favourite, amoung others, was the fish and chips as the fish is battered 2 different ways, if you like light and crunchy, they will bread the fish or you can have beer batter. The owners will frequently wait on tables making this little restaurant a homey and friendly place to go. I took friends from oversees there for burgers. They thoroughly enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the burgers were succulent and well dressed. I would go there again.
