The two of us decided to finally get around to trying Fatburger .................
We are happy we did!
We both tried their "Traditional Burger" with all the trimmings.
Split a side of fries..................
It was plenty for a fast lunch on this Sunday afternoon.
Service was fine... and the place was 3/4 full.
(Biffy was Clean too.)
This will probably turn out to be one of our four "steady" restaurants ... particularly when we want fast service and a fair low price.
I don't even know where to begin. Everything about Fatburger screams, "We get it. We know what our customers want. We like our customers and want to feed them well. We have great taste in both food and interior design." The ambiance is classic 50s diner style, but not in a cheesy or lame way. It's really quite provocative. They have a jukebox wired into main sound system, which is totally free to use! Amazing. There are tons of CDs in there to choose from -- it's a modern gadget underneath the retro styling.
Everything I've had there has been delicious, with their burgers (beef, chicken, or turkey) being the real stand-outs, of course, as well as their milkshakes. They recently added Oreo flavour so I am a very happy man whenever it's shake time.
Staff are upbeat and efficient, and the place is always spotless. Even the bathrooms are classy, with pictures of famous 20th and 21st century movie stars adorning the walls. Everyone from Mae West and Grace Kelly up to Scarlett and Natalie -- in the gents' anyway. Just a fantastic joint overall. They even have draft beer! And yeah, a full meal may set you back $10, but McDonald's is perhaps $7 or $8, and is utterly inferior in the taste and nutrition department. A must-try -- and don't be put off by the name, as many skeptics have been.
Went with my son to fatburger for early dinner and actually contemplated if I should have a burger for dinner. And I am so glad I did. I ordered the vege burger with all toppings and my son the beef burger. Both were incredibly good and moist and the toppings are even better... very fresh. The price is very good for the quantity and the size of the burgers!!!
If you want to eat a burger skip the fast food joints and head to Fat burger... you are sure to love it!!!
I have been to Fatburger 3 times and all were the same experiences. Food: Triple King with cheese, bacon and lettuce, mayo, ketchup, and pickles. Very big and fresh tasting. Fries were good but was skimpier than a McDonald's medium fries. What the fudge! Service: Pretty piss poor. Workers are disinterested in their jobs and one girl made me look like a dummy because I had asked for Fat Fries and it was discontinued? and she had the NERVE to say that I need to do my research. Psssh I know more about food than her nuked meatball brain. She wasn't even new and worked there when Fat Fries was around. Value: Extremely pissing poor. 19.50 for this meal and they charge for EVERY topping. Even lettuce. I recommend Five Guys over this rip off I tells ya.
