Earl's menu features burgers, soups, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, and vegetarian options.
had time for a quick lunch on Friday. Dining companion ordered the cedar plank salmon. It came with a curry sauce which he passed on & they put some sort of lemon sauce on it instead. Wasn;t great he said, Should have had it simply broiled. Good size porion, well presented.
I had the Mediterranean pasta. Full of lots of cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, red sauce. Huge portion for lunch. Very nice.
Split a ceaser salad & a side of their bread. Should have passed on the bread. Delicious but too filling.
Dependable spot for lunch.
We expected a so so lunch at this, of many restaurants NOT on the beach.
She ordered the Chicken (Ciabatta) Sandwich and, instead of fries, had the Black Bean Soup.
I ordered THE SICILIAN Pizza.
Everything was served in reasonable time and was piping hot.
Service with a Smile from "Jen"topped off the Lunch !
It's a nice place and I like that they have the bar separated from the main dining area. The food was just average though. My bread was cold, the fries were soggy and the sandwich was just... average. The service was very good I admit. However, everything I tried on the menu, I've had better elsewhere.
Beware of advertising
Since I became aware of Earl's though this site, I feel compelled to write about the experince, although I typically vote with my feet. Maybe, this was once the premier Steak House in this area, howvever, there must be better, much better in a city this size. My 12 once New York had sections that were unedible due to gristle. I won't try to describe the paltry serving of tasteless vegetables that accompanied the meal.
The only bright spot was the service which was extremely good.
I have visited Earls 3 times in the last two weeks and have found the same pleasant reception, excellent service and exquisite food. Presentation is excellent and served promptly at the right time and temperature. Cleanliness is obviously a priority here as I have found the restaurant exceptionally tidy. I'll be back often!
This was on our regular list until about thee months ago. Although service has remained good and it is a typical Earl's decor, the food has gone downhill the last couple times. The steak was below the quality you expect - it had been clearly tenderized and was more like a $9.95 steak special at a roadside diner. The coffee has also gone downhill. Considering the competition in this price range, not really recommended.
Earl's is probably definitely better than a lot of those types of Restaurants chains. It's a nice place to have a chat and chill. I would recommend their seafood chowder, ribs, and burger&fries because those are probably their best items. overall the service was fine and my experience was nice
