Fresh ice cream across from the pier in White Rock.
You get what you pay for. Freshest ingredients...see the boxes of mangoes stacked along the wall, real grated coconut, and chocolate you will remember. The best on the drive. Mom and dad operation. They have been across the drive from the pier for years. The only complaint? They close for the winter.
Finally! An alternative to ice cream on the strip and conveniently located by the pier! Although I wouldn't say its the best gelato I've had, it's decent. Tiramisu, sour cherries, and the mango flavor were all good. No complaints.
They are quite busy but the line was served pretty quickly. The only other thing to note is that it is CASH ONLY (don't worry, there is a bank machine right beside them if you forget) =)
This ice cream shop is always busy. They make their own ice cream and the flavours are very intense.
It has a great location, directly across from the Pier in White Rock and they do have a limited number of tables and chairs inside and out on the deck where you can enjoy your ice cream and people watch.
The ice cream is fabulous but they could be a bit more generous with their scoops. One small scoop of ice cream is over $3.00 . I don't mind the price so much but I don't feel it is very good value compared to other ice cream shops.
One day my friends and I wanted to go have some ice cream so we decided to go here. Then when we came in the place looked good. So then we choose wat type of ice cream we wanted and we all chose chocolate and when we tried it was just incredible and we liked it so much and my friends told me that it is the best ice cream they have ever tasted and I agreed. The service is good. The value is good too. So I recomend this ice cream to anyone.
I tried the Plain Chocolate Ice Cream because the White Ice Cream was already sold out....and it was only 11:30A.M. on this very warm Wednesday.
The Italian Speaking staff memeber (possibly the owner) advised me that they would be making some in the next 24hours so would be available again the next time I came by.

This place has the best gelato in White Rock. Friendly and efficient service, locally owned, and fantastic atmosphere. Prices are slightly high but definitely worth it. It's in a very convenient location, just in front of the pier, and near a bank machine. One downfall is that they don't accept anything but cash! Also, a cute dining area is located outside for enjoying the beautiful weather!
