Nice place for breakfast
My family and I went here for breakfast today. Most notable category was the service. Our server was extremely welcoming and accommodating of our two children (2 years old and 6 months old).
Food was solid but nothing to write home about. Here are the dishes we had (rated out of ten):
Yogurt and Granola with Strawberries – 6 (Strawberries and syrup too sweet, probably puree for bar drinks)
Eggs Benedict Sampler (4):
--> Mushroom and Asparagus - 8
--> Smoked Salmon – 7
--> Alder Wood Smoked Bacon – 6
--> Chicken – 4 (Chicken had no flavor)
--> Pan Fries – 7 (would be an 8 if I hadn’t had two burnt potatoes)
On a drink note:
Excellent Single Caesars
I’ll probably go back someday; the prices were reasonable given the experience but I’ve certainly had better breakfast food in the past.
Restaurant is part of the Whistler Raquet Club. Went for brunch. Food was fantastic. Decent sized poritions at average Whistler prices. Friendly customer service (a rarity for Whistler). Nice view of Whistler and Blackcomb mountians. I woud recommend this place to anyone looking for good food with a view.
