Great Burger Joint

If you want a burger but think you deserve so much better than MacDonald, then try this place. Basically like Subway, you build your own burger here. My husband picked almost everything to be on his burger, and I don't know how he made it fit into his mouth. Ingredients are fresh, burger is nice, juicy, and flavourful. We came here for dinner but should've saved it for next day's lunch - because, even though the food itself is good and satisfying, it is after all a fast food joint. Not somewhere you come with your hubby for a quality meal time.

This is not a full service joint, so if thats what you are looking for, you will be disappointed.

If you are looking for great burgers and great food, then this is a great place to try out! Its not cheap, but the value for the dollar is great. The burgers are made to order fresh, so it takes a few minutes, the wait is worht it once you sink your teeth into these "homestyle" burgers. There are numerous fresh/homemade toppings you can dress your burger with, from the standards to the exotics.

The fries are also great!

Check it out next time you're in Whistler.

A must for every Whistler visit

I go to Splitz every time I go skiing in Whistler! I've had pretty much all their burgers and tried all their sauces. My favorite is their lamb burger.

Everything is made right in front of your eyes and the friendly cooks let you choose from lots of different toppings (you can't go wrong with Splitz sauce and sprouts!)

There ALWAYS is a line even though the grill is not exactly within Whistler Village, it's like a local's best kept secret.

Great Burgers

Very good burgers. A little sloppy but isn't a good burger always that way?

Friendly service and an OK seating area. But really, you can’t expect 5 star everything from a burger joint. Honestly, it's one of the better burgers I've had in my life, certainly in the top 10.

Rated out of ten:
Splitz Legendary Beef with Cheese, Bacon, Sautéed Onions and Mushrooms – 8

I’ll be back for sure. If you’re in Whistler for a quick lunch try them out.

Decent burgers if you're craving for one

I had been to the Splitz grill before in Whistler and thought it was okay...so when I was wandering on main street and saw Splitz again, I thought I'd try something else on the menu-the italian sausage burger. The burger wasn't by far the most amazing burger i've ever eaten, better than White spot and Vera's burger for sure. You pick your own toppings, and if you pick the splitz sauce, you can't go wrong. I was pleasantly surprised that the italian sausage was really nice. For $7.88 (extra cheese cost $1 (including tax) you get a burger that would fill you up....this does not include fries/drinks. Service is fine, the cooks seem friendly enough, you have to understand that this is a casual place, you order your food and pick it up yourself. It's not cheap, but if you want a good solid burger, then this is a great place to go to.

The only real burger in Whistler

If this place was in the middle of Whistler Village, there would be some serious lines out the door all the way from the lifts. They really outdo themselves. They are all made to order with their vast toppings and sauces. There is something there for everyone. My husband was sick in bed and as soon as he ate one, he took me shopping!!

We have been eating here for years and are never dissapointed, The Splitz burger is by far the best I've ever tried, and I've tried lots from all over the place.

They spezialize in burgers and take them very seriously, the meat is perfectly seasoned, you get to choose your toppings from about 20 choices including home made sauces. You have to try the splitz sauce but be careful as it is highly addictive.

The service is very good and friendly as you interact directly with the cooks as they put your order together, there is no table service but the atmosphere is fun, and electric.

It can get busy at times with line ups but is worth the wait, we cant wait for there new location to open in Vancouver.

Burger left a lasting impression

What can I say- wow! I tried the beef burger (they had chicken, veggie, lentil, lamb etc.)- big selection of sauces and toppings which they were very very generous with. Think this was my first time having alfalfa sprouts on my burger. It was very hard to get the burger in my mouth, it was so full! Incredibly tasty. Splitz sauce was great.

A new location in Vancouver is set to open soon- can't wait!

I go to Splitz grill every time i go up to Whistler. It's like the Subway sandwich of burgers because you get to pick the toppings (including their famous Splitz sauce). They have a variety of burgers: chicken, salmon, spicy italian sausage and they also sell smokies. You can get a gigantic beef burger for ~$7. Don't forget to try their Bananna Split: you pick three ice cream flavours and toppings and they make fresh, warm caramel to pour on top.
