Kypriaki Norte is loacted in the Whistler Village Stroll, stop by for a meal of traditional Greek favorites in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Kyriaki Norte had an '80s prices' special recently. The prices were indeed reminiscent of many years ago, although possibly the portions may have shrank slightly as well. Our waitress was very good, friendly and attentive. The food and the evening in general, was very enjoyable. The chicken souvlaki was well prepared, no complaints aside from wishing there was a bit more of it. My wife had the roast lamb and it was very good and plentiful. Luckily she was able to share some with me. We had a litre of the house red, which wasn't great but about right for the $30 price. Overall, not at all bad.
The ambiance of this place was very endearing. The service was very friendly and prompt. The food was terrific - we were hoping for passable greek fare but were very pleasantly surprised. The menu was diverse and the entrees (fresh halibut) and appetizers (tuna carpaccio) were very well presented and delicious. The food was both traditional and creative. Don't skip the dessert menu. Didn't order a bottle of wine - had a pitcher of sangria. I do find the review below very difficult to reconcile with our experience!
