Ingrid’s Village Café, located in the heart of Whistler Village, has been serving freshly made soups, salads, burgers, veggie burgers, made to order sandwiches, wraps and lots more home cooked goodies for over 20 years.
It's our "must" stop when we are in Whistler. We just have to have their Superior Veggie Burger. It's so fresh and tasty and very satisfying even for a non-vegetarian like us. The spicy mayo gives it a good kick. The place is very small and tend to be crowded, but you can always take the sandwich out and eat it anywhere you like.
The samosas are delicious, but with the curry sauce they are to die for. I stop in at least once or twice every time I'm in Whistler. Last time my fiance tried the turkey burger and I was surprised at how incredibly tasty it was. I gave them a 4 for ambiance because even though it's a small, crowded cafe, it fits my idea of a local apres ski hangout. Staff is friendly and prices are totally reasonable. Love it!
