The Den Restaurant features traditional west coast fusion cuisine in either a charming dining room, a cozy lounge, a den for private meetings, or Whistler's largest lakeside patio with an extraordinary panoramic mountain view on the shores of glacier fed Green Lake. We welcome diners, golfers, group functions, gala events, casual gatherings, weddings, and parties of all kinds. (open breakfast/lunch/dinner during summer season; for dinner in winter season)
I went to Nicklaus North this summer for some appies and drinks with friends and I was completely blown away by the food! Their new chef is fantastic - they have so many great things on the menu, at excellent prices! Such good value is hard to find in Whistler - especiall considering the great ambience and views of the lake from the patio... I went back a few weeks later with my in-laws from out of town, and they were all VERY impressed. And parking there is free! (impossible to find in most of Whistler these days) I'll be back for sure, and I'm recommending this place to everyone. In fact, I'll be up there this winter and plan to do the horsedrawn sleigh rides and fondue package!
I have visited and lived in Whistler for a few years now. Occasionally, after a game of golf or a lunch on the patio seems decent for the clubhouse but I am not sure about the dinner as it's too pricey for it's value. The sunday brunches seemed very greasy as well and I found it to be overpriced by a mile. A good overall ambience and a quite getaway from other village restaurants. I would visit again only after a round of golf.
