Neighborhood cafe located in Ambleside serving great coffee, pastries & cakes, and lunch. Cafe TrafiQ is a beautiful, licensed venue available for private parties. Open Seven Days a week.
When I'm in the area, I will relax to enjoy a cup of coffee & try something If I'm hungry.
I have tried a variety of baked goods, which are fresh and great tasting. I love their coffee and Its a great way to relax, read a newspaper or people watch, before you have to carry on with your day.
I will be back.
Have only tried two pastries here... Chocolate Croissant and Chunky Monkey (a cake of chunks of banana with a bit of chocolate on top).
Both pastries are delicious and make great companions to coffee.
It's always busy and service is pleasant. Very much a neighbourhood cafe with its quirky charm.
They also serve sandwiches, muffins, scones, etc.
Great coffee and variety, great sandwiches, soups and the baked goods are fresh and awesome. Due to popularity - the supply can get low prior to closing. The staff will make items to order if not in the display case. The owner is awesome and she always knows your name and your coffee preference. Will try the new location on Main Street soon. Need to make the trek off the north shore.
Problem with good recommendation is that it is busy already.
This is a unique and personable cafe. Community supportive and excellent culinary and beverage choices. The owner is hands on and welcoming - great desserts. There is no other coffee shop on the North Shore like this. Prices are reasonable.
I guess this location is just not busy enough to support a cafe. The old cafe trafiq had great breakfast and nice people. The new trafiq is very slow, has unprofessional service. One persons meal was finished before the other arrived, and we waited forever to get the order in or water. The wait was not worth it.
I have not had anything good here and will have to go to the local bucks down the street. Too bad. I like to support the local guy but there is nothing fresh here.
