The Cactus Club has over 20 locations in BC and Alberta and features an eclectic menu selection that includes steaks, rice bowls, dinner sized salads and more.
Just about every Cactus Club I've ever been to has had a weird decor to it. I usually take the kids to the one across the street from Metrotown, which is cold and sterile, but the one at Park Royal had an awesome sort of ambiance to it, and the food was much better than what I was used to, which says something because the food is usually really good! They were really busy when we went but I left my cell number with their desk and they called me after twenty minutes and got us seated and fed in about another twenty. It was a really good time and we're going to have to make the trek back out there again!
We dine lot and like Cactus Club Cafe (specially the one on Burred Street). Unfortunately we didn’t have good experience this time as chicken wings was under cooked and bloody also my steak was over cooked and we told our waitresses but she just told us sorry and didn’t offer to change it at all. So defiantly are not going to that location anymore.
Cactus Club has great food and speedy service. After you order, the food arrives in less than 10 minutes. (Starters arrive in less than 5). It's just a wonderful experience. All the servers are really nice. And you get free drink refills!
The ambiance is very good. It provides a more urban, yet relaxed feeling at the same time.
The restaurant is soo clean! Check out the washrooms. They are amazing.
Definitely worth coming back for
jesus, these posts suggesting that the restaurants are great because of the BATHROOMS are ridiculous.
let's judge the food, people.
Food: usually Cactus is known for its burgers, but these burgers are tasteless and overpriced.
generally don't give low ratings but this place is really just for the eye candy.
less hostesses and more WAITERS
I've been to Cactus Club LOTS of times, both on busy weekends and during the week, and I have never had anything but a fabulous experience. The food is fresh, beautifully cooked and presented, and supremely tasty. The steak was always a favorite with my group of friends, because you order from a menu, so you know exactly what you're getting, and the selection is far more varied, more creative, and more delicious than your run of the mill steakhouse. More expensive, yes, but far more satisfying, as far as I'm concerned. The staff are all really great, too. I just have something for long legs. Never snooty or rude, and they always act like they're happy to be working at Cactus. YAY for this chain!
