Swiss Chalet is always popular with the seniors crowd who know a good value when they see it. This place is always busy - year round as it's a reasonable place to have a decent meal at a reasonable price.
The location shares its site with a Tim Hortons so the biggest problem is finding parking. Most of the meals have been pretty good and very reasonably priced so I cannot complain. Service is typically brusque as they pack 'em in and feed and ship 'em out.
The house speciality is, of course, chicken - in all its variations and the meals are generally good. The only time I had a problem (partly my fault as I misunderstood a menu item) the waitress quickly whisked it away and brought another. It's efficient and worked to keep me coming back when I can stand the crowds.
