Point No Point offers a menu consisting of only regional and seasonal items, with an emphasis on wild fish and seafood.
This restaurant is fantastic! They even provide binnoculars at the tables and the view overlooks the open ocean... you can see seals, otters, and the occasional whale. Not bad for live dinner theatre! The menu is unique and tasty. The place is clean, and friendly. A nice drive and place to come for a meal unto itself, or to nip up to if you're staying in the five star ocean view cabins on the property. Super place with forest/beach to walk around too, if you're staying for a meal.
I was very surprised that a high calibre restaurant such as this were not able to accomodate my vegetarian friend. Their was absolutely nothing edible for her on the menu and when we inquired with the waiter he said he would ask the chef to make a nice vegetable pasta for her. The vegetable pasta sonsisted of nothing more than linguini noodles with peas, and oil and way too much salt. My friend said she was used to somtimes having to make special orders but this had been the worst supstitution he had ever had. My husband was a chef for many years and commented that the ability of a chef to improvise shows his true talents. For meals that start at $20 and up it is not unreasonable to request the chef to accomodate dietary requirements addequetely (somthing Vista 18 is very good at). I would not attend again purely upon this principle
