In town for a wedding so a place for lunch was needed. Had dinner at the Bear Mountain Resort the night before and almost had heart failure at the prices and quantity of food. Checked the menu at the Four Points Sheraton where I was staying and again was flabbergasted. Drove across to Milestone and had lunch there. $35.00 for 2 with tips. More than I would spend at home in Burnaby but seemed like a bargain on the Island. Food was great, I had the prime rib hash and loved it. My only complaint was the slippery floor. Did they make it slippery on purpose or just don't realize what a hazard it is. Get some degreaser and wash the floors.
My daughter and I went for dinner on a Friday evening. The staff was very friendly and prompt. The food was disappointing. My daughter had a steak which was excellent but for vegetables she had 3 thin small asparagus.
I ordered a Thai stir fry with a chicken breast. The chicken breast was tender but the stir fry was just noodles swimming in a nondescript brow sauce. It was not stir fry. For dessert I had a Butterscotch pot. A custard with chocolate sauce. but commercial cookies on it.
