Located in the south end of University Heights mall, it serves up basic good value food.
This restaurant is popular with senior citizens who know good value when they see it. Portions can be halved for better value. Service is good and acceptably quick. The decor is a bit dated but if you are looking for a good value - this is it.
Had lunch here with the 60 year old parents who live in Victoria - they stood out by being some of the youngest customers at this family style restaurant! The place has all of the ambience of a retirement home cafeteria - of which I believe there are quite a number just down the road. Having said that, the food is surprisingly good and the prices cannot be beaten. Obviously, I'm not the only one who thinks so as the place was just jammed with the grey haired set and their families. It may not be a yuppie hang out but reservations are clearly a must to get a seat here on a weekend for lunch!
