Restaurant hours are convenient being that it is open until 3am, however the service standards are below average. After sitting down and having our order taken, our food arrived within 10-15 minutes. Our server had taken what he thought was the correct order, two of one combo, two of another. We had actually ordered three of one order and one of another. He argued with us trying to convince us that she was wrong and he had taken the correct order. After literally 3 minutes of him trying to prove that she had ordered what he brought out, he took the wrong order back into the kitchen. 30 minutes later he comes out with her order; we're already finished eating and she very politely asks him to get it to go. He bitterly took her plate back into the kitchen and again didn't come back with it for another 15 minutes - after asking for the bill, he completely snubbed us and barely nodded towards the front counter.
Living in Western Canada my entire life and understanding culture shocks and businesses, it has been my understanding that the customer is always right. No matter what happens at a North American restaurant - the restaurant takes responsibility of an order. If the customer says the food is too cold, they bring out another hot order ASAP. Taking care of the customer efficiently and sometimes even with compensation.
Unfortunately in this case, lack of English and adaption to our culture has proven this restaurant to be less than satisfactory and they have lost a few people who love Chinese food, who are just looking to be served respectfully and correctly.
I will not go back to this restaurant based on our experience, extremely disappointing and unfortunate.
