This is the place to go for a benny! They have many different kinds but are all amazing. I pretty much wont go out for breaky unless we go there. If there is a line up which unless you show up early on the weekends there will be at least they serve you coffe while you wait! Always friendly staff! my top pick for good, lots of different yummy sauced bennys on the island!!!!!!

Solid Joint

Eggs benny was ordered, was pretty good. Place was packed on a late sunday, also got a smoothie. Was disappointed for the size of it as it was 4 bucks and pretty tiny. THey had a ton of eggs benny flavors. I think johns place does it better though. The hashbrowns were ok, i like the cube sized ones more though. All in all this place is pretty good, good food for a decent price, but can add up.

Delectable & Charming

Some days this place is so busy there are people lined up out the door, down the path, and onto Quadra Street, now how many places can you name that get that busy. So obviously this place is onto something. If you come during the really busy times you will probably wait for upto an hour for your food once your seated, but when it comes you will be pleased. The servers are fun and usually frantic trying to keep up with the business. The Benny's are some of the most creative in town, and not to mention my favorite. This is a diner and it feels like one, so for a great diner experiance come here.

Floyds Breakfast experience

First time I ever went to Floyds Diner on Yates Have to say I had a mixed experience. The looks in the place when I got in was a bit run down from the inside not to mention was not a bit impressed with a Santa that was dressed up as a Canuck fan waiting for me inside the only thing was missing was a clownhead out to talk my order into. I ordered a American Idol Eggs Benny which was really good but I really waited along time and with the price a bit high it was a bit dissapointing The people in there were freindly so Im going to try them one more time maybe they just had a bad day

Great place if your still drunk from the night before...
By vic_foodie38 of victoria b.c. (1 Review)

Just as the title says, people who eat here and says the food is "good" must still be drunk. I've eaten here maybe 5 or 6 times hoping it might get better, or maybe because I'm forced to go. I'm proven wrong every time. I would even give the food an okay if it was consistently bad... but it's soo inconsistent. I'm not even talking about inconsistently good and bad. It either is bad or horrible.. The service is good though I will admit, and their menu is creative, but they need some real cooks to make the food instead of some cracked out bums they found in front of BBJ's. I still do not understand how the lineup is always out the door. People, wake up!! There are soooo many different places to eat great breakfast in Vic... do NOT come here!!

Salsa Verde
By whirledfoodie of Metchosin, Victoria (5 Reviews)

For the best Heuvos Rancheros (called Huevos Incredibles here) in Victoria, this is the place. What really makes them is the salsa verde. The salsa is house-made and could be spicier but adds so much to this and other dishes.
Very relaxed ambience (found tables and chairs mixed with movie posters and customer generated graffiti on the walls). The XL divider tank of Koi is a favourite of many and kids in particular
Also love the various hashes.
If you don't like peirced, tattooed, staff, this isn't for you. They're usually friendly enough, and hot looking (sometimes aloof) and are sometimes overworked or gabbing behind the till.
Great if the Blue Fox is too busy.

Walked fr the water front to go tot this Diner, we were not disapointed. We were greeted at the door, and seated promply. the waitress was helpful and immedaitely served us coffee and plce a menu on the table . The time was about 9:30 in the morning and the waitress were "hopping" but everyone seem to enjoying themselves.
The food was great and a lot of it . I had the BC hash and I had the half prtion , good thing becuase it is big. The wife had the Bananna French toast , half size which is more then enough. and both were very good.

The staff was great!! excellent service, great vaule for your money , all tourist should come to this plac eto eat. The place is on the corner and the place is kinda "hippy' but dont worry about it. it is the food that wil bring you to this place. Bottom line GO EAT here.! It is worth the money and the vaule for your $ .

Kind of messy/dirty, but good diner food
By vancouverchowboy of richmond, BC (9 Reviews)

This is your typical theme diner with very decent, tasty food. The staff isn't overly friendly, nor is the place particularly clean; however, the food is quite reasonable and tasty.

We would definitely come back, as this is a good standby, but at the same time, we'd be happy to find other places, too.

Yummy Club Sandwiches
By mondurvic of Victoria (6 Reviews)
Submitted Friday, January 26, 2007 - 10:33pm [Dine in]

As a connoisseur of club sandwiches, I heartly recommend this place, which has not one, but three different varieties. Denise's Club Sandwich was fabulous, made with caramelized onions, red pepper jelly, chicken, bacon, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce., Everything was just the right temperature, too - not tough old bacon, but freshly made; warm chicken. Charming waitress. Definitely recommended. Wish they'd start opening for dinner.
