For anyone who has visited Butchart Gardens, they know how absolutely lovey it is there! Christmas time is a special time to go, especially with family. A wonderful way to spend the evening is to dine first and then take a stroll around the gardens in the crisp night air afterwards. From my understanding the Dining Room is operated seasonally, over the summer, but re-opens for a short time over Christmas. Now, the only grievance I have is that you have to pay the garden admission price before going to dinner! If you don't have an annual pass and out of town visitors wouldn't, it makes for a VERY expensive dinner when you add the price of admission to the price of their expensive dinner entrees!
I think that if you are dining, the price of your admission ticket should be deducted from your dinner bill at the time of payment. It seems a bit excessive to me to double dip!
