I love the food at Delicados. It is always fresh, healthy, and very flavourful. We dine in sometimes as well as taking out food other times. The staff are very sensitive to special requests, especially concerning allergies. We always enjoy our food and service from Delicados, and will return many times!
I went in there and ordered a falafel wrap. I waited almost 15 mintues for it at about noon on a weekday and I was the only customer. What should have been my first clue. The place is in dowtoen Victoria and was empty. The staff outnumbered the customers and I still had to wait. Falafel was not a real falafel but edible and overpriced. They also sold some kind of hot chile chips that were SO hot they were inedible. I have never found anything so hot it was inedible before. The chips were also expired by 3 months. I would not return. Hello - check your expiry dates.
Delicados is a great place to grab lunch any day of the week. The prices are very fair for the portions they serve. Its one of those places you can walk into and feel very welcome and walk out feeling satisfied. You've got the option to choose how spicy you want your food too.
I've been here a few times and have always been satisfied with my vegetable wraps. The food has always been fresh and it doesn't take too long for it to arrive. They always have a nice selection of cold salads. It has always been a nice experience, with a friendly staff. They are also quite willing to adjust their food the way you'd like it, which is wonderful for those watching what they put in their bodies.
You can also choose how spicy you'd like the food.
I've had a number of items from their menu - my favourite is the southwest chicken wrap. Very Good!! Really interesting blend of flavours and textures and a really good price.
Salads are good. Unusual and tasty salsa.
Tortilla pie is great.
Call ahead if you're going to be picking up at lunch hour, they get really busy.
This is one of the places in Victoria that I really hope doesn't go out of business.
