I really enjoyed going to Crumsby's. Who would ever have thought that the cupcake would one day become chic? With wonderful flavours like strawberry lemonade and carrot cake (with cream cheese icing) and raspberry chocolate and... oh, my mouth is watering so many others, the biggest problem I had on both occasions I went there was selecting my cupcakes.
They sell mini cupcakes for $1.50 each or you can get a 6 pack for $7.50 (or 12 for $15).
They also serve lunch and items that looked very tasty and I was told by others that they were and I was told by others that their muffins are good too, but, hey, get out of my way, I want CUPCAKES!!!
By the way, they have a vegan, gluten-free cupcake! So, just about anyone can go and enjoy a cupcake there.
The ambiance is wide open, light, airy and friendly.
And the only thing I would say is sad is that they are not open evenings because they would make such a lovely little cafe to go to in the evening and read a book or chat with a friend.
However, I'm not complaining. They are lovely.
