I worked in Downtown Vic for 3 years, 2 blocks from Broughton Deli. We used to get sandwiches for take out and dine in. Staff was friendly and always pleasant to deal with.
My return today yielded an unhappy staff member too busy to help me with my sandwich. No fans or A/C made dining in very uncomfortable. Sandwich was ok, but nothing that Subway or similar couldn't offer.
All in all, I was disappointed for what used to be here. I am guessing management has changed hands and attention to detail combined with friendly service is out the door too.
