Boston Pizza offers a casual dining atmosphere with over 100 menu items including a selection of pizzas, pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, meal-sized salads, entrees and desserts. The restaurant also has plenty of big screen TVs to catch the big game.
I admit it - I really like Boston Pizza (the pizza). The rest of the food, particularly at this establishment should be avoided.
Boston Pizza is a revitalized franchise that is normally cookie cutter the same. This is not a crticism, as sometimes, in a new area or when travelling, it's nice to know it's going to be predictable. This restaurant utterly destroyed a piece of salmon that had the misfortune to pass through the kitchen. When the toughened shoe leather was pointed out to them they took it off the bill. Oh - I almost forgot, before that they forgot half the order....
The pizza and beer are good and they tend to serve a youngish crowd so maybe we just hit a bad day the first time. My wife has been back and stuck to pizza and everything was fine.
Incidentally, I have gone to Boston Pizza only with good company, and perhaps that has improved on the food. Honestly though, the food was not bad. I've had some of the appetizers and pizzas and it is about as good as it sounds. Nothing spectacular, but not horrid either. If you are nearby and looking for a satisfactory meal, why not go? The service and the drinks weren't the best though. The server was hardly ever around and the drinks were too sweet.
We went with 6 people .The place was busy and LOUD. There was hardly room for the food on the table.
My friend had ordered soup and had to pay $ 2.25? for a piece of bread with the soup. When it came it was really burnt. Overall the food is so, so and overpriced
