Wendel Clark's combines the comfort & warmth of a lounge with the lively energy of a sports bar. Offering a menu of pub classics as well as signature items like Black Angus Alberta beef steaks, lamb, ribs and pasta. You'll won't miss a moment of action on the massive HD projection screen, 6 huge plasma TV's or the individual TV's at each booth, all in HD.
Worst experience ever. I have Celiac disease, called ahead and was told it would be no problem to accommodate. Travelled to Vaughan with 3 friends and was turned away by the hostess because "it was too busy to accommodate for a dietary condition".
I wrote a review on their website on January 19th and did not even get an apology. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but without a reply that's hard.
I went in to see my friend Mike Futa who's the Co-Director of Amateur Scouting for the LA Kings! Wendel was there and it was a packed house. It was a private party but we had a huuuuuuuggggeeee group of people. The food was unreal, i got a Wendel Burger ;) the portions are great and you won't leave hungry! The staff was very quick and pleasant! I'll be back.
On Tuesday, July 1st, the Stanley Cup was the life of the party in Vaughan, with over 600 people at Musiqhaus, which is a restobar, lounge and live music venue, along with Wendel Clark’s Classic Grill and Sports Lounge (located in the same building).Yes Wendel Clark was in attendance but the Stanley Cup was not Musiqhaus or Wendel Clark’s Bar for Wendel. Co-Director of Amateur Scouting for the LA Kings, Michael Futa had his day with the Cup and he decided to bring 600 of his closest friends, family and some NHLers with him. Musiqhaus was electric and so was Wendel Clark’s Bar, as both facilities were jammed packed with smiles, as people re-united for the first time in a long time. Mr. Futa did not miss a beat as almost everyone in attendance had their photo taken with the Stanley Cup.
Went for the game and boy oh boy was I impressed! Will I be back? YES! FOOD WAS AMAZING AND STAFF WAS BETTER! I was thrilled to come I had low expectations but the staff blew me away and the steak I had was unbelievable! I loved it great place to watch every sporting event!
I just LOVE going to wendel clarks. Pretty chic and elegant for a sports bar and grill. Service, food, ambience and the kind of crowd it draws makes it an absolute pleasure to be there. My fave day is saturday night. Am a big fan of their "sexy salad in the city" LOL!! Gotta go there with my gal pals soon, need i say the boys r handsome at wendells ;))
Wendel Clark is another one of my fave places when i am hangin out with my college buddies. This is what i think of when i want to chill out, is a relaxed place with an upbeat mood to it. The food certainly takes up the bigger piece of pie ;) I like their wings paired with a cold beer, the ribs r pretty good too. nice to see all the wendel, hockey, sports memorabillia there, overall a nice place.
I went to this place on the weekend and WHOA! had such a good time I am having the tuesday blues now.LOL!! This place just rocks i tell ya. Want good food and a fabulous ambience just get in the door at wendel's. Got the music on my mind I heard there.Humming...hum hum humming still...
I have been to many sports bars and the ambience is always average if not pathetic. Most places are dark and dingy, scruffy wait staff and mediocre food. My perception changed when I went to Wendel Clarks for the first time and now when it comes to going out for a beer and hanging out with friends Wendel Clarks is the first place that comes to mind. Absolutely incredible ambience, serivce and food! Way to go guys yall ROCK!!
