i like this place for the amaxing dessert i got, i really love the desserts they offer there. about the meal i had.. it was good but not amazing as i expected to be, they offer you an amazing variety of wines and i don't really know much about that but the waiter help me out a lot so the service is really good, the ambience is really nice and romantic, i would go again but just for the sweet stuff
i like this place, its a little pricy but i think its worth to pay, they serve great meat here and well cooked, i like the ambience a lot too, its quite fancy and loud but goes along with the place. the stuff is good, they are polite and really nice. i will go again soon
its way too expensive for what i got, i think its not worth the price, the service is great i really like the attitude of everyone but the food its not worth it. i wouldnt go again just because i wont spend that much money for simple food. they shoul make the food better and taster.
i really didn't like this place, the food its really expensive and its not that good, i think they should re-think their prices or in that case, re-think their menu, te service is good, fast, and really eficient. the ambience it's ok but i really think that i won't go again.
i think that the fact that this place is really cheap catches atention from everyone but the real thing is that its not really good, the food it's not fresh, it has a weird taste and it is definitely not worth it, i end up spending money in something i really didn't like and had to go it somewhere else so, its a no here.
i was really sad to realize that the food and servise here is really mediocre, i would like to see this to change because the place is not bad, they need to make the food tastier and fresh so that gets better, right now i feel the food is really bad, hope this change soon
i love it, its a little expencive i think but its really good and worth it, i went there with a friend and was great, the food is really worth the price, the service also is really good so you will definitely want to go again there. the ambience is good to, its simple but looks great.
i love the pizza here, it has that homemade taste and i really love it plus i think there has been a noticible change in the ambience and that has made it better, everythin is good here but it can always get better, the food is already amazing but there are some things that can change for the better
i would like to see this place to get better, it's good in my opinion, but the prices don't go along with what they serve. i think it way too expencive for the little amount of food you get and not so good. i think the people working there can do better in every aspect so that the place can get better.
this is a great place to eat, and speccially to drink the best margaritas ever, they really have a great ambience that makes it a fun place to be. i particulary love it, love to go with my friends and have a great time in this place, have great food and drinks.
i really love this burgers, its a great place if you are looking for a fast food places with great food and menu. i woul definitely recomend this place. the service is good too so its nice to go there. it is worth what it costs so it a must see
i love the place, everything seems really natural and good, the coffee seems to be the real deal. the only bad thing i see here is that there almost never sit for people to go in. besides that i think its a great place with a great service and food. some things are a little pricy but it's worth it
i think the place is good, the food is good and not so pricy but it has things to improve because i don't really see it as and outstanding place, its good but nos amazing so i wouldn't recomended. i think it can definitely improve on service and food, good luck you guys
i like the way they fusion the food, its a really good place to eat something if you are just hungy and in a mood for something fast. i think it a little pricy because its still a hot dog but besides that i like it. the service it's really good too, at least the times i've been there,
Morocco West was featured in a local magazine promoting Vancouver's local fare. This place caught my eye, I'm always up for trying new flavours and cuisines. At the end of the meal I was left wanting more, not more food but more gumption.
We went using a social shopper voucher. A pretty good deal. We shared a 'duck' starter, this was cooked well but the sauce didn't gel well in our opinion. I ordered the chicken tagine and MM ordered the recommended lamb cous cous. Both were adequate, nothing you couldn't make at home to be brutally honest. The dishes were lacking distinction in terms of spice and flavours. Nothing stood out. Saying that, however, the dessert helped to redeem our experience. We shared the lavender honey pannacotta - hit the spot nicely.
If we didn't have the voucher and had to pay full price, we would have felt hard done by. The starters and dessert are well priced, the mains were not.
The newly appointed server was great. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing. It was nice to hear and see management advising/coaching their staff.
Atmosphere is nice (could do with a stronger extractor fan in the kitchen). It was quiet when we went during the week. I'm sure there is a lot more going on at the weekend. They also have happy hour during the week. I may give that a go.
This was our first time to Laksa King and it was exactly as promised! A hole in the wall with decor that looks like it's left over from the previous tenants; family - run, delicious dishes, inexpensive prices. A great place to get the food you miss from Maylaysia/Singapore.
Roti Canai, small - 1 piece, we shared it. The dipping sauce was okay, my husband liked it. I would have liked the roti to be pulled to be thinner and crispier.
Laksa - a large bowl of flavourful broth, choice of egg noodle or vermicelli. We also shared this and it was delicious. We would order this again for sure.
Eggplant with basil - comes with rice. It's meant for one person but we shared. Good, but not that interesting. We would try something else next time.
Three dishes for two people, tax, tip = $26 (no drinks)
Apparently there is a good Burmese noodle soup dish available only on Sunday (see menu pics). I guess we'll have to come back next time on Sunday!
i had to throw a small party because i had bought a brand new apartment. I called and ordered the party time special which had 5 large pizza's and a bottle of pop. The pizzas were still hot and fresh when they came to my door and the guests loved how much cheese they had put on the pizza. The meats tasted really fresh and the crust was crispy. for all you pizza lovers keep this place in mind.
Last week we dined here for the second time. I was so impressed by our first visit that I thought I would be disappointed on my next visit - my expectations were very high! But I was blown away again. The menu had changed since our last visit because the seasonal vegetables had changed, the winter menu was much more exciting than I would have expected. So many items I'd like to try... and I'm not even vegetarian. We came on a Tuesday night to find that they were holding a fundraiser for a non-profit group that educated kids about where our food comes from (or something like that). It turns out that 20% of our bill was donated directly to this charity... and they do this every Tuesday for a different charity! But next time we're going on a Wednesday because it's half price wine night!
I was here few years ago and it was alright. It could be because it was the person I was with and what I ordered.
This time around, I'm a brand new person with a positive outlook of life and with a great partner.
It was close to Xmas and I wanted to have a nice, delicious dinner with my man. I decided to give this resto another chance b/c I see great things in this place. Also I was craving for black cod and black cod is almost impossible to find in other resto. Surprisingly I was able to make reso few days before Xmas. The person on the phone was super friendly; I'm assuming it was the owner. When we arrived for dinner on a chilly Saturday evening, we were welcomed and greeted. We sat on our table and our lovely server was awesome throughout the whole night. My partner and I had a great time joking and chatting with him. We received our complimentary bread and lobster oil w/ balsamic vinegar. Yummy. For entres, I ordered smoked black cod, ofcourse. My partner ordered today's special which was a special fish that I've never heard before. But boy was it fresh, tasty and mm mm. My black cod was nicely and lightly smoked, not too strong like smoked salmon. The vegetables and everything surrounding it looked beautifully and edible-ly delightful. We ordered some wine and the server wanted me drunk. Haha he's so funny. We had a very lovely evening at Pink Peppercorn. I would love to go again.
I work for an undisclosed Canadian delivery service and stopped in to this location for a drink and pee break. There was no "line" but for some reason it took a while for someone to notice me and take me to the till. I have no issues with the server that I had, he was a sweet young kid and I think he was new, HOWEVER......I will be honest and say that I am not a Tim Hortons fan to begin with. I didn't really know what to order because I am usually really dissatisfied with whatever drink I usually get but remembered that my husband got me an English Toffee before and I liked it so thought i would have it again. I ordered it but I don't know if it just off the menu now or they just didn't have what it took to make it, so I had to make another decision. I noticed on all the menu boards there was Pumpkin Spice flavor and I know I love pumpkin spice so went with a pumpkin spice mocha. I was told they don't have pumpkin spice. I am beginning to get annoyed and frazzled as I have no idea what else I will not spit out as usually I find all TH drinks taste like creamy salt water for some reason. Anyways to make a long story short I ended up with a French Vanilla (I think that's what the guy gave me). I also had to use the washroom (which was the main reason I went to this location) and was told there wasn't one available. needless to say I will NEVER go to a TH's again just to save me aggravation. I will stick to my over priced delicious Earl Greg Tea Latte at Starbucks. But I think I need to mention, it was another reason I went to TH's this day, Starbucks for some reason didn't have my drink this day either. Bly me
