Different Chinese Food

Driving down Kingsway looking for a place to eat saw a parking spot so took a chance. First impression is what a small place. About 12 tables and seating for about 35 people. When it is cold outside and someone opens the door everyone feels it. Place was half full and all Chinese. Good sign? Got seated right away but there being only 1 waitress service was slow. Had 2 appetizer dishes posted on the wall spicey bean with turnip and chicken wings marinated in wine sauce $2.95 each. Not to my liking but sometimes you gotta try something different. Main dishes were the chicken fried dragging noodles and the dragging noodles with seafood & vegetables in soup. Dragging noodles are similar to broad noodles used in chow fun but heartier and less inclined to break apart. Of the 2 mains I prefer the one in soup. Almost every table had a similar soup bowl on the table. My guess is this is the house specialty. Every table had either steam buns or pot stickers also. There is a wide variety of soup noodles ranging between $5.95 to $8.95. The one I had was $8.55 and very large. Next time I want to go to a Vietnamese place for a pho fix I will come here instead. All in all it was alright and I would come back.
