we called here for delivery of chinese food on christmas eve, order was taken with patince. The price was calulated while i waited on the phone. Time was quoted as 45 mins, that was fine. Delivery was fine and drelivery guy was nice and polite. There was not much wrong with this order good job!
food: was good and arrived hot and tasty, there was not much wrong. It was a good order!
Went there for last minute dinner with fiancee and his parents. Ordered the beef and brocolli, enoki mushrooms and egg tofu and salted fish with minced pork. Also had plain white rice.
The place is ordinary, small and nothing spectacular as far as ambiance goes. It was like being in someone's basement. Ordinary tables, plain and simple.
But that doesn't matter. Food has a good taste. Tastes like dishes that your mom or grandma would make. The pork in the salted fish dish was not ground pork but pork chopped with a meat cleaver which is the traditional way. Lots of flavour and probably the best version of this dish we have all ever had in a restaurant. I liked the chopped fresh green onion on top as well as it was a nice compliment to the flavour of the salty fish.
Enoki mushroom and tofu was also a really nice and tasty dish. Would have been better if the tofu had not been deep fried but it didn't taste like oil at all. It was lightly done. Beef and brocolli was also very good. Reasonably priced and fair sized portions. A definite place to go to again.
