There are always a lot of male patrons at this location, perhaps UBC students living in the area. They offer a long list of tea's yet they were almost out of everything, they blamed it on their supplier but it still seemed odd. They push rooibus tea a lot. That was almost the only tea they had so I tried it. This place was okay the service was a bit shakey as the minimum wage ESL server didn't seem to know how to make tea. Also I didn't really like the ambiance of the place. It just seemed too cookie cutter. They had signs on their women's bathroom to be sure to push hard to lock the door or someone would walk in and a sign on the other side of the door to knock before entering... I don't understand why they don't just fix the lock or add another lock to the door! Overall I don't recommend this place it seems very badly managed.
