For over 80 years now, White Spot has had a passion for using only the freshest and finest quality ingredients. Whether you're joining us for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a late night snack, we look forward to welcoming you every time.
The service here was not up to par (not even close to par). The lady serving us was grumpy and seemed as if she wanted to jump off a bridge and die already. The food was alright (I've only been there once) and didn't see anything else wrong. The food at the SUB building is much more filling and don't need to pay tips for someone not even worth tipping.
I have been here twice since it opened and the service is absolutely abysmal! The first time I went there, my fellow diners and I had to wait 40 minutes for our food to arrive. We had placed our order, and 20 minutes later our server decided to let us know that one of the items that we had ordered was sold out. We then had to wait another 20 minutes which is absolutely ridiculous for burgers! Beyond that, our server completely ignored us the whole time never asking us if we needed refills for our drinks!
Went there again tonight (the manager had given us gift certificates after our first horrible experience) and the service was just as bad. When the Brian, who apparently is a "supervisor" showed us to our table, we made it known right away that we did not like our table as we were right below the TVs and could not see the game from where we were seated. We had asked him if we could possibly have one of the empty tables around us once they had cleaned them (there were at least 3 empty tables) and he pretty much shrugged us off saying that we had "front row seats". After he gave us our drinks, we had asked him again if we could move to a table that had just been cleaned and his answer to us was "you guys are FREAKIN' killing me!". He then hoalers over to us and tells us to move over to the table that had just been cleaned. No idea what the big deal is considering we moved everything ourselves, including our drinks and a pitcher of beer. He did not have to lift a finger! Anyways, we had a different server from then on, and he was great. Food still came slowly (25 minutes for the appys and 35 minutes for the entrees) but can fault him for that.
Overall, this place still needs A LOT of work and I hope they figure it out soon.
I got breakfast today from this White Spot and I have to say that it will be the last time. Each time I have ordered breakfast the food has been cold and the hashbrowns have been soggy and taste strange, almost like they were microwaved. Such a disappointment and way overpriced for the quality. Don't waste your time or money, or appetite for that matter.
